Welcome to Django Girls Oulu!

If you are a woman and want to learn how to make websites, we have good news for you: we are holding free workshops for beginners! If you know English and have a laptop, you can apply for our event! You don't need to know any technical stuff – our workshop is for people who are new to programming.

The Django Girls Oulu main event takes place on 3 Nov, 2017 6:30PM - 8PM & 4 Nov, 2017 9:30AM - 5PM at Game Campus (Fingersoft). 
Before the main event, we also have 4-week workshops for you to learn basic programming and HTML/CSS: Tuesdays, 3rd, 10th, 24th, 31st October from 6:30PM -8PM at Game Campus (Fingersoft).

We believe that the IT industry will greatly benefit from bringing more women into technology. We want to give you an opportunity to learn how to program and become one of us – women programmers!

As a workshop attendee you will: 
🦄 attend a Django workshop during which you will create your first website
🦄 attend a basic Python programming workshop once a week for 4 weeks in October, where you will learn the basics of programming, which will help you get ready for the actual Django Girls day!
🦄 get free snacks and food during the events

We have space only for a limited number of people, so make sure you send an application as soon as possible!
